1 Peter 2:20

For what credit is it if , when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure ? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure , this is a gracious thing in the sight of God .

But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.

For what glory is it , if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it , ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
