1 Peter 5:5

Likewise , you who are younger , be subject to the elders . Clothe yourselves , all of you, with humility toward one another , for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble .

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility : for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
