Hebrews 11:19

He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead , from which , figuratively speaking , he did receive him back.

Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
