Hebrews 12:7

It is for discipline that you have to endure . God is treating you as sons . For what son is there whom his father does not discipline ?

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
