Jeremiah 17:5

Thus says the Lord : Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength , whose heart turns away from the Lord .

This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.

Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
