Luke 8:6

And some fell on the rock , and as it grew up , it withered away , because it had no moisture .

Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture.

And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
