Nehemiah 2:17

Then I said to them, You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned . Come , let us build the wall of Jerusalem , that we may no longer suffer derision .

Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.”

Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire : come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.
