Numbers 23:19

God is not man , that he should lie , or a son of man , that he should change his mind . Has he said , and will he not do it? Or has he spoken , and will he not fulfill it?

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent : hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
