Psalms 39:1

What Is the Measure of My Days? To the choirmaster : to Jeduthun . A Psalm of David . I said , I will guard my ways , that I may not sin with my tongue ; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle , so long as the wicked are in my presence .

I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked.”

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue : I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
