Psalms 39:11

When you discipline a man with rebukes for sin , you consume like a moth what is dear to him; surely all mankind is a mere breath !

When you rebuke and discipline anyone for their sin, you consume their wealth like a moth— surely everyone is but a breath.

When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth : surely every man is vanity. Selah.
