Romans 13:7

Pay to all what is owed to them : taxes to whom taxes are owed , revenue to whom revenue is owed , respect to whom respect is owed , honor to whom honor is owed .

Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Render therefore to all their dues : tribute to whom tribute is due ; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
